Some people keep a diary where they make various notes. For example, they noticed some beautiful name, a fabulous combination of colors or saw something that could inspire to create some kind of composition. I recommend that you also make yourself such a diary, here you can put any interesting or amazing information.

I often meet florists at various seminars or trips, we communicate with them on social networks and by correspondence, many of them say that they write down my advice and statements. It flatters me, I'm glad that my advice is useful to people. I am pleased to know that my advice is valid. My colleagues tell me how they tested in practice the method that I proposed at one of the seminars, and it worked. Therefore, you also need to get a notebook where you will write down important tips and all the necessary information.

In the future, this notebook will come in handy for you, it will resemble what may have already been forgotten. There is another secret that I want to share with you. Upon arrival to any city, I always visit flower shops.

Firstly, it causes me interest, no matter what settlement it is: Petersburg or a small village near Saratov.

Secondly, you need to understand the overall picture of the flower market in this store, in order to know how much effort it will take to open a flower shop here.

For me, such a method of assessing the market in a particular locality as training. I have already opened my store, and I want to understand if I can open a store in any other place.


Naturally, I go only to the best shops, those that were recommended by knowledgeable people. I look around and mark the pros and cons that I see. This helps me determine how different my work scheme is from what I see in front of me.

In general, shopping is useful, both as a buyer and as a seller. For me, shopping is like a new creative wave, here the muse comes to me.

Tips:

make a list of flower shops in your city and visit them;

make a list of what should be in the store (refrigerator, fan, sprayer, display cases (which), and so on)

Evaluate the appearance of the store’s employees, what kind of people they are, how they met, what they said they offered to purchase, who specifically offered it — all this will come in handy to evaluate the work of this personnel, so you will know what to demand from sellers in your store.

Make special notes: a beautiful armchair, a bright sign, a beautiful composition.

Analyze how much the dot with flowers is passable, you can make an estimate of the weekday and weekend.

During a walk, for example, I go to all the shops that are found. I accept the observation post. To evaluate the store you need to know what the right questions to ask florists. These questions need to be thought out in advance.
